I LOVE decorating with hydrangea because it's so easy and arrangements looks great all year long. I simply picked clusters after they turned green (the dried stage) and lightly spray painted them maroon to match the décor in my room. That's it! So easy and so pretty!
FYI: If I pick clusters when they first bloom (white), and put them in a vase with fresh water, they will last a week or so. If I pick them after they turn green, they last all year with NO water. I can also pick them after they turn brown for the same affect. This Christmas I plan to spray paint brown clusters white to imitate a light dusting of snow. I might decorate a wreath or use them in a display on my fireplace mantle. Either way, it will be fun to bring "the outside in" and stay cozy warm in the process!

Fit For A King & Queen
Who believes great discoveries occur accidently? I've never given it much thought until I recently spilled a drop of paint on the corner of my fitted sheet while touching up my headboard. I felt pretty disappointed that I had stained my new fitted sheet; but after laundering it and remaking my bed, I realized I had made a time saving discovery! My paint stain made it easy for me to find the right corner the first time. No more hit or miss!
This is what I did:
I LOVE my discovery! If this is an old tip, I wish I knew it a long time ago. Why don't all fitted sheets come with marked ends, especially queen and king sizes!
This is what I did:
- I marked the two corners on the foot of my fitted sheet with a permanent marker. I chose the foot because no one can see the markings there but me!

Baby Yourself
Who doesn't LOVE the smell of a newborn baby or any baby for that matter! Have you ever thought about bringing that smell home? I have and did. You can too and it's so easy.
This is what I did:
This is what I did:
- I bought baby shampoo. Any brand will do but I chose Johnson's.
- Instead of using liquid soap, I filled my soap dispenser with baby shampoo.
