Heart Sun Catchers

Valentine's Day is here and LOVE is all around us. My kids have had a lot of fun making crafts on these cold wintery days. Recently we ran out of pink paper, so we chose the next best thing, coffee filters!

This is what you need:

1. Coffee filters
2. Scissors
3. Paint
4. Cotton balls
5. Anything sparkly 

This is what we did:

1. We folded the coffee filters in half, then cut the top to form a heart.
2. We folded the heart over and over until it was very small.
3. We  then cut little shapes on the folded pieces.
4. We unfolded the heart and began to decorate.
5. We dipped cotton balls into the paint and dabbed it all over the heart.
6. Lastly, we added special touches with sparkles. 

It looks beautiful hanging in our window.  We LOVE it!
